Our Insolvency Department represents officials in liquidating Australian companies in the process

Our Insolvency Department represents officers who have been appointed by the Courts in Australia as joint liquidators in the liquidation proceedings of 12 Australian companies.

Earlier this month the Tel Aviv District Court approved 12 requests for recognition of Israel in liquidation court orders issued in Australia as a ‘primary foreign proceeding’, ordering that the Australian liquidators be authorized to manage the assets of companies located in Israel and obtain any property and/or information belonging to such companies.

The requests for recognition of foreign proceedings were submitted in accordance with the provisions of Part IX of the Insolvency and Economic Rehabilitation Law, 2018.

In addition to attorneys Lior Dagan and Sivan Lev, Adv. Dana Vaknin and her father Vanunu, an intern of our Insolvency Department, took part in the representation of. The Australian liquidators.
