The District Court in Tel Aviv appointed Adv. Idan Adler Reiss, a partner in our office’s insolvency department, as a trustee for an Anonima Trading Company. This company markets and distributes branded children’s products such as Batman, Hello Kitty, LOL, PJ Masks, Fireman Sam, and more.
Adv. Adler Reiss managed the company’s affairs for about two months, during which she also conducted complex negotiations with the company’s creditors and intensive negotiations with a potential buyer who eventually acquired the company’s shares.
In addition, she formulated a creditors agreement for the company and its shareholders, which the district court approved in an unusual process despite failing to win the majority in all the company’s creditors’ classes.
Adv. Idan Adler Reiss fulfilled her duties as a trustee alongside the insolvency department team from our office, including Adv. Roman Peltsman, Adv. Zvi Karl, and intern Tal Nahmad.
