Another success for our firm’s litigation department!
Our firm successfully represented Dor-Or Kiryat Gat Properties Ltd., a company related to the S. Schestowitz Group, in a lawsuit filed by it against the publicly traded company Azorim, in which it was ruled that Azorim would be required to compensate Dor-Or in a monetary amount of over 12M NIS.
As part of the ruling, the District Court in Tel Aviv accepted all of our firm’s claims regarding Azorim’s responsibility for the tens of thousands of tons of construction waste that had been landfilled over the years and in a systematic manner in the area that Dor-Or purchased from it; and regarding the misleading representations that Azorim gave to our client and regarding the lack of good faith in Azorim’s conducts, in a way which awarded our client compensation for the damages it accrued.
The Dor-Or company was represented in the proceedings by partners Ofer Furth, Eli Shimon, and lawyer Idan Yaloz from our firm’s litigation department.
